Toxics Free Australia has evolved as an incorporated organisation from the dedicated, long-term work of the National Toxics Network and the WA based, Alliance for a Clean Environment.

The movement for a ‘Toxics Free Future’ has a long history in Australia spanning more than 30 years. Founded by the National Toxics Network and involving scientists, health professionals, experts, academia and seasoned civil society NGO’s working to prevent pollution and threats to our environmental health, justice and human rights, in Australia and the Oceania region, we continue to provide robust, scientific, evidence based information and resources to uphold environmental health and justice for all Australians.

Toxics Free Australia (TFA) will continue to engage with the Australian government on how it regulates chemicals, pesticides, plastic and waste. TFA will continue to promote ‘Community Right to Know’ and ‘Environmental Justice’ in Australia and support frontline communities facing major pollution threats, whether from pesticides, chemicals, plastic or waste.
